Attractive locations

Monuriki

Small uninhabited island with a curved beach, hillsides and clear water. It is best known as the main filming location for the 2000 film Cast Away, and is visited on boat trips.

Mana Island

Island with sandy beaches, a coral reef and walking paths to lookouts. It is a favourite for snorkelling and day trips.

Malolo Island

The largest island in the group, with villages, hills and beaches on its coastline. Visitors can walk between the settlements and swim in calm bays.

Beachcomber Island

Tiny round island small enough to walk around in a few minutes. It has white sand, a lively beach atmosphere and good snorkelling right off the shore.

Castaway Island

Palm-fringed island with white sand and a coral-fringed lagoon, reached by boat from Denarau or Nadi. It is mainly a resort island, so access for day visitors depends on the boat operator.
